Congress: The Congress is completely attacking the BJP regarding the Adani case. The party is continuously demanding the Central Government to investigate Adani Group by JPC. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been continuously asking questions from the BJP ever since the Hindenburg report came out. The Congress has taken up this matter from the house to the road. Due to the ruckus on Adani, the proceedings of the Parliament had to be postponed several times. In this connection, on Thursday, on the last day of the budget session of Parliament in Delhi, opposition MPs took out a ‘Tricolor March’ from Parliament to Vijay Chowk. Many big leaders including former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge participated in the opposition’s tricolor march.
In a tweet from the official Twitter handle of the Congress party, it has been said that the Modi government does not want to set up a JPC on the Adani scam. With this demand, the tricolor march is going on from Parliament to Vijay Chowk.
‘How did Adani’s wealth become 12 lakh crores in just 2.5 years’
On adani matter, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that “Our collective issue was why so much importance is being given to Adani? How did Adani’s wealth become 12 lakh crores in just 2.5 years? They have bought the money and property of the government. Why Modi ji is giving so many things to only one person? Whenever we gave notice and demanded discussion on it, they did not allow us to speak. This has happened for the first time, I have never seen this in 52 years. Here for 2 years, I am seeing that the people of the ruling party themselves create obstacles.
The Congress President asked, “Which countries did he (Adani) meet the Prime Ministers and industrialists? There should be a discussion on this. We are demanding JPC. There was no harm to them in this. If they have majority then more people will be with you. Despite this, why are they (BJP) afraid of JPC.
’50 lakh crore budget passed in just 12 minutes’
On the other hand, on the Adani issue, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the government made every effort not to bring this budget into the discussion. The Modi government talks a lot about democracy but does not follow what it says. The budget of 50 lakh crores has been passed in just 12 minutes. He always kept saying that the opposition is not interested, but the disturbance has happened from the side of the government.
Regarding the demand for JPC inquiry into the Adani issue, he further said that it is our job to fight democratically in a democracy. Attacking the Center, he said that if the government does not agree, then it is a dogmatic government. The leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha said that if you want to keep democracy alive, then you will have to listen to the opposition as well. The government should always react while being positive.
