The result of the by-election in Kudhani seat of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar has gone in favor of BJP. The BJP has wrested the Kudhani seat from the ruling Grand Alliance. In the ‘battle’ of Kudhani, BJP candidate Kedar Prasad Gupta defeated Janata Dal United candidate Manoj Singh Kushwaha by a margin of 3645 votes. Kedar Gupta got 76 thousand 653 votes, while Manoj Kushwaha got 73008 votes in the contest on Kudhani seat.
‘VIP got 10000 Nishad votes’ Mukesh Sahni, who was assessing the strength of his party in Kudhni, did not get the expected success. VIP candidate Nilabh Kumar got only 10,000 votes and remained at number three. Mukesh Sahni is not disappointed over the defeat in Kudhani.
